From curiosity to marathon swimming

I fell in love with the freedom of swimming in open water — the connection to nature, the simplicity of movement, and the mental calm that comes from long hours in the sea.

Over the years, I’ve completed team and duo crossings to Rottnest Island, multiple solo crossings, and long-distance swims including the 25km Port to Pub, the 26km Lake Zurich swim and the 24km Palm to Shelley Beach swim.

In September 2024 I was the first person to swim the 54km Upper Ord River — an experience that pushed me far beyond my comfort zone and left a lasting mark on my swimming journey.

Australian Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming

In 2026, I completed the Australian Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming — a milestone I’m incredibly proud of.

The Triple Crown consists of three iconic marathon swims:

  • Port to Pub (25km), WA

  • Palm to Shelly Beach (24km), NSW

  • Derwent River Swim (34km), TAS

Each swim was completely different — ocean crossings, rugged coastlines, and cold river conditions — and together they demanded patience, resilience, and deep respect for the water.

Completing the Triple Crown wasn’t just about endurance. It was about learning to trust myself, adapt to the environment, and keep moving forward, one stroke at a time.

Why Swimwild Escape was born

I studied Tourism and earned my swim coaching licence in 2021, but Swimwild Escape was born from something deeper than qualifications.

I love connecting like-minded people.
I love nature, adventure, swimming, good food & wine, and the simple joy of shared experiences.

Swimwild Escape brings all of that together — thoughtfully designed swimming retreats in Western Australia and beyond, for people who want more than just a swim.

Whether you’re new to open water swimming or an experienced swimmer looking for your next adventure, you’ll be supported, encouraged, and inspired — always at your own pace.

What’s next?

I’m always dreaming about the next big swim — aspirations include the Maui Channel Swim, Bora Bora circumnavigation and the SCAR Swim Challenge.

But no matter where the water takes me next, what matters most is sharing the journey.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you on one of our retreats.
You won’t regret it.

Dare to swim wild.
